Good2Learn has been working with Hedon Primary School in East Yorkshire to support targeted intervention and raise performance levels following the disruption of COVID to learning.
Throughout teaching online during the lockdown, it was apparent that while many children could work independently and manage their learning, others could not and lacked independence and confidence.
The school chose Good2Learn for its ability to work seamlessly between school and home.
Angela Baker, Deputy Headteacher at Hedon Primary School commented; “Teachers and teaching assistants, are able to access the platform and direct the children to specific work units where support is needed. Good2Learn has saved us so much time in being able to monitor the children’s usage and progress and access detailed real-time reports and data which is essential in the current difficult climate.”
As well as being a great support to the teachers in school, the children have loved using Good2Learn. They receive immediate feedback on their answers and can jump in and out of the relevant lessons to support the learning and achieve the best results.
In addition to an impressive level of pupil engagement and enthusiasm, in just 30 days, the school saw a 10.8% overall improvement in performance with an average overall and steadily increasing score of 65.1% for the school.
